I am an Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at Carnegie Mellon University. My current work focuses on Sway, an AI-scaffolded chat platform I co-created with Simon Cullen that helps students engage in constructive conversations about difficult—and often controversial—topics.
Previously I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Bilkent University. I received my B.S. in Physics from MIT in 2009 and my PhD in Philosophy from Stanford University in 2018.
