With Simon Cullen, I co-created Sway, an AI-scaffolded chat platform that connects pairs of students who disagree over topics and facilitates more open, reasonable conversations between them.
Sway creates scaffolded environments where students can practice constructive disagreement, honing skills like intellectual humility, cognitive empathy, and critical thinking.
We're working to normalize reasoned conversations between students with opposing perspectives and help transform fraught arguments into opportunities for greater understanding.
