I am Co-Founder & Chief Technology and Operations Officer at Disagree Wisely, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to fostering constructive disagreement and civil discourse through research and education.
With Simon Cullen, I co-created Sway, an AI-scaffolded chat platform that helps students engage in constructive conversations about difficult—and often controversial—topics.
Previously I was an Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Research Fellow based in the Department of Philosophy at Carnegie Mellon University (2022–2025) and an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Bilkent University (2018–2022). I received my B.S. in Physics from MIT in 2009 and my PhD in Philosophy from Stanford University in 2018.
